I want to take a moment to congratulate all the students who auditioned for Jeffco's All County Middle and High School Honor Orchestras. I'm very proud of your hard work and accomplishments. I have 6 students who made it into both honor orchestras. Congrats!
I just wanted to pass along some info for concerts you might want to attend this week:
Thursday, October 29
Front Range Youth Symphony Fall Concert
Go see some of the cellists in our studio...and see what it might be like to play with these awesome orchestras. Auditions will be in May for next year's lineup.
Saturday, October 31
Silver Ainomae, Principal Cellist of Colorado Symphony Orchestra
Englewood Civic Center
This is his first Denver-area solo recital...and student tickets are only $5. And with a name like Silver, who would miss this? Don't miss out on this opportunity!
You're invited to be a part of the Guinness World Records by attending the world's largest music lesson held at Red Rocks Amphitheater on July 28, 2009. For more information, check out this website.
I am currently in the process of organizing a summer schedule for lessons. Please fill out the form to request lessons dates you will be in town and submit by May 22. The final schedule will be posted on this website, accessible through current students' information as well as on the calendar.
