About the Workshop

This workshop is designed for parents and children ages 3-6 as an introduction to music lessons. We will learn the basic posture necessary to play a cello using preparatory foam cellos. Additionally, we will develop skills to use the bow, and learn several songs. An instrument is not necessary to enroll in the workshop! Students will enjoy rhythm games, coordination activities, and parents will enjoy observing the musical and expressive development of their little ones. Class size is limited to 2-4 children per workshop.

When Is it Offered?

The Intro to Cello Workshop will be offered several times throughout the school year. There will be 3 consecutive weeks of 45-min classes.

What is the Cost?

The workshop costs $60. Students will receive materials to take home for practice.
