I want to take a moment to congratulate all the students who auditioned for Jeffco's All County Middle and High School Honor Orchestras. I'm very proud of your hard work and accomplishments. I have 6 students who made it into both honor orchestras. Congrats!

I want to invite you all to attend my upcoming performance with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra:
Friday, Nov. 20 in Boulder, 7:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 21 in Broomfield, 7:30 pm I'm able to get 50% off tickets with 24 hrs. notice. Prices end up being $10 for adults and $5 for students. It's hard to pass up a good deal like that! I hope to see many of you there! I am very pleased with the hard work all students did to prepare for the recent recitals. We had another fantastic round of performances! I received a lot of great feedback from parents noticing how much progress is being made, especially in other students. Congratulations on a job well done!

Auditions will be in May for next year's lineup. Saturday, October 31 2:00 pm Silver Ainomae, Principal Cellist of Colorado Symphony Orchestra Englewood Civic Center http://www.denverpost.com/entertainment/ci_13612070?source=pop This is his first Denver-area solo recital...and student tickets are only $5. And with a name like Silver, who would miss this? Don't miss out on this opportunity! Now is the time to get your tickets for the upcoming Boulder Chamber Orchestra performance, featuring guest cellist, Inbal Segev. Come see Megan perform on October 9 or 10, 7:30 pm. The fall lesson schedule is accessible here on the website in 2 formats: a) google calendar and b) downloadable file. Please use this schedule and the studio roster to trade lesson times if the need arises.
The deadline for fall lesson time requests is tomorrow, August 5th. Please fill out the registration form on the Lessons page. The fall schedule will be completed by August 12th and will go into effect on August 24th. Any remaining spaces will be given to students on the waiting list.
You're invited to be a part of the Guinness World Records by attending the world's largest music lesson held at Red Rocks Amphitheater on July 28, 2009. For more information, check out this website. Current students can now access all other students' contact information for the sole purpose of trading lesson times when you foresee a conflict.
